Verse 1:
For you and me, for everybody there’s a reason why we’re here
For everything, though the picture’s not always so clear.
All creation has a purpose,
Nothing God made is worthless,
You gotta look beyond the surface,
Then you’ll find from all your searchin,
Verse 2:
There’s a reason that things don’t always go your way,
There’s a reason we have to wait on some things when we pray.
We won’t always understand the way that our God moves,
In case you didn’t know, there’s a reason for that too.
If we don’t panic, we can manage when the troubles come.
If we just look to the hills and say Lord let your will be done,
Don’t abandon your faith cuz you don’t know quite where you are,
If the Lord wanted to leave you, you never would’ve come this far.
Verse 3:
So many questions I have about my past and future,
Who can I go to just to get a little truth, for what I’ve got,
My problems seem so unnecessary,
I breakin’ down and I need someone to carry me,
Cuz I don’t know the reason that God has me here,
For there are many seasons, maybe it’s mine to endure,
I have no choice but to lean on God when I’m not sure,
Cuz I don’t know everything that the Lord has in store.

A reason why we die,
And a reason why we live,
A reason why we give,
There’s a reason why we praise,
And a reason why we sang,
There’s a reason why we pray,
And reason we have faith
See when you lost all you had,
When you had no where to go,
When you fell on your face,
You better believe there was a reason.
When He picked you up,
When He turned you around,
And put a smile on yo face,
You better believe there was a reason
